Architectural Control Committee

Ensure that homeowners adhere to the Amendment and Supplement to the Acts of Restrictions for Parkwood Terrace Subdivision: First, Second, and Third Filings. Collaborate with the Compliance Committee and conduct yearly neighborhood canvas assessments for violations of restrictions and City/Parish Ordinances.

Hospitality Committee

Refer to Hospitality Guidelines for Births, Deaths, and Illness of Residents. Collaborate with all committees and Street Captains to ensure homeowner information is gathered and updated (names, addresses, phone numbers, email, birthdays, anniversaries). Encourage homeowners to attend PTIA Zoom meetings and share information with the PTIA Secretary.

Compliance Committee

Newsletter / Website Committee

The Official PTIA Newsletter, The Pipeline, is distributed quarterly as well as special editions. Distribution is by email or hand-delivered to residents without email. The committee manages all aspects of the website, including content and security, ensuring that PTIA’s online presence is effective, informative, visually appealing, and accessible. The Newsletter/Website Committee collaborates with all PTIA committees.

Street Captains

Street Captains serve as points of contact to remain in touch with neighbors, address needs, ideas, and issues, and bring matters to the attention of the Executive Board or full PTIA body. They collaborate with all committees, disseminate information, and send “gentle reminder” calls or texts to ensure residents pay yearly dues and attend PTIA Zoom meetings.

The PTIA Homeowner Information Form is issued to each homeowner periodically. It serves to update contact information (names, addresses, phone numbers, email, etc.) and generate the data needed for PTIA Committees, official documents, and emergency notifications.
